Judy, Evie, Tammy, how does one sum up in a few words what this special lady means to me? She was a sweet, soft spoken, easy going, giving loving, "lady" who never let anyone see her (as you said) without her lip stick on. She loved her children, her husband, and her ice cream. She introduced me to "Anne Of Green Gables", she was a good cook I ate at her table many times, and she made the best cookies! I'll always remember the last time I saw her Aug. 29th, 2014, she saw me and she cried she was so happy to see me. That made my day and I'm glad that I have a picture of us that moment. She was a sweetheart. I loved her as a child, and even more as an adult. My children (now grown with children of their own) never left her home as children without some kind of snack for the ride home. She was a sweetheart. . XO Paula

Precious memories are what come to mind when I think of my Cousin Mavis. Seems she always wore a smile and was ready to give a loving hug. We will miss her so much but know she is with the Lord. We Proctor cousins have been so close and and now share in our loss here on earth but we will always have a special place in our hearts for Cousin Mavis.
