I was in Virginia when I heard from a friend of Ken's passing. Floods of high school memories in my mind. That clown with the sparkle in his eyes. all the make up in the world could not hide those eyes. RIP friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kenzo's family of loved ones and friends. We are proud to have known him and know that he will be watching over and raving about Spencer to all the Alley beyond those Pearly Gates. Rest In Peace, Kenny.

I first met Ken over 30 years ago when he opened his magic shop on Charles Street directly across the street from where my dad and I had our business, we immediately hit it off; we would stand in front of our stores all day and talk about everything and anything and sometimes nothing....he truly made me laugh.
What he was most proud of in his life was his son, Spencer, we talked HOURS about Spencer and his success.
Ken, I'll miss our private Facebook chats , but every time I think of you, I'll have a smile on my face.
R.I.P my friend, job well done.

Robert, I also was fortunate to open my business across from Ken-zo's 14 years ago (1014 S. Charles). Kenny dished out great advice and was always willing to lend a hand. His enthusiasm was contagious and he showed me that anything can be done if you believe in it. He had a heart of gold and wanted everyone to succeed. I will miss him and never forget him...

I knew Kenny in high school from Drama Club. We also lived close together and I remember him riding his unicycle around the neighborhood. He was so good at what he wanted to be and I was so impressed when he got into clown school and worked for Ringling Brothers. He lived his dream and not everyone gets to do that. My sincere condolences to his son and the rest of his family. He is gone too soon from this Earth.

Growing up as a child, I remember Ken and his family on Hyson St. Mom and Dad were both beautiful people. As I got older and married, I so appreciated him doing Ronald McDonald when the McDonald's open on Fort Ave and my children were amazed. When he bought the bar on Charles St. my husband did his brick work for him. He knew what he wanted and the way he wanted it. He was a good man, and will be truly missed. Rest well my friend, rest well. Job well done !
