Mom I miss you so very much. I visited you today and left you a birthday present. I can't wait to see you again and wrap my arms around you. I miss laying my head on your lap and you would stroke my hair ever so gently. I miss drawing pictures on your back when I was little and brushing your long black hair. I miss your smell, your touch your love. I miss everything about you mom. I love you.

As I remember Ms Jenny I think of the woman I never ever saw get mad. I think of the woman who had the patience of a saint. Picture teenagers sitting in her living room with their fingers in their mouths trying to learn how to whistle…hour after hour…day after day… she never told us to be quiet (and yes I can still whistle loudly!). She embraced our goofiness. She never asked what happened to the Doggy Donuts! Ha…that’s another story.
She made the best Lasagne. She always made sure you had a piece of bread with your fish in case a bone got stuck in your throat. She welcomed everyone into her home and treated them like family.
Your Mother blessed so many people with her kindness. Praying you will find comfort in your memories of her and in the knowledge that others are missing her, too.
