Beloved William “Bill” Thomas Maenner II Obituary

     William Thomas Maenner II of York, PA, formerly of Glen Burnie, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, November 15, 2024. He was 65 years old.

     Born in Baltimore, MD, Mr. Maenner was the son of the late William Thomas Maenner and Irma Wally Ernst Maenner. He was a veteran of the US Air Force where he was a SSGT and ground radio communication specialist. When leaving the Airforce, he worked as a Field Technical Engineer for many years. He moved to York PA in 2012 and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

     Mr. Maenner is survived by his daughter, Angie Maurer (John Paul Glass) of Glen Burnie; son: William Maenner (Ashley) of Myrtle Beach, SC, two sisters, Cathy Vincent (Justin) of Baltimore, MD and Deborah Simon (John) of Twisp, WA; a brother-in-law, John Fagan; and five grandchildren: Shawn, Ryan, Jaxon, River, and Landon. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Fagan and a brother, Richard Maenner.

Visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service, 169 Riviera Drive, on Saturday December 7, 2024 from 1 to 3 P.M. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Interment with honors will be held on Monday December 9, 2024 at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery Crownsville.
