On December 7, 2024, William Hawkins, a longtime resident of Baltimore Highlands, passed away at age 38. He graduated from Western Technical High School in Catonsville and dedicated nearly 20 years as a Captain for Correctional Services in the State of Maryland. A proud and active member of Capital Pride in Washington DC, William was a passionate advocate for marginalized communities, tirelessly championing equality and inclusion throughout his life. He was also a devoted Orioles and Ravens fan.
William Hawkins was the beloved son of Liz and Bill Hawkins; cherished brother of Bryan Hawkins; also blessed with the love and companionship of extended family and a circle of cherished friends who brought joy and meaning to his life.
Family requests relatives and friends visit Gonce Funeral Service, 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Friday (December 13, 2024) from 4 to 7 P.M.
