It is with profound sadness and great loss that the family of Wanda Sue George announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday October 9th, 2024 at the age of 62. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 8th, 1962. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, watching football, jewelry shopping online, enjoyed caring for her pets and plants. Enjoyed playing bingo and scratch offs. Her favorite songs were ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ by Steppenwolf and ‘Gimmie Three Steps’ by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

She is proceeded in death by her father, John D. French Sr., her mother Carol A. French, and her brother John D. French Jr.

She is lovingly survived by her husband Pete George; son Gary Mossman, granddaughter Laura Barker, and grandson Chase Buckley; son Michael French and grandson Ezekiel French, daughter Carol George and grand son Shane Zimmerman, Darren Sedgwick Jr, Giselle Sedgwick; brother Kirk French Sr. and nephew Kirk French Jr.; and all her nieces and nephews, and extended family who loved her as “Aunt Wanda”.

Wanda will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday (October 18, 2024) at Gonce Funeral Service, 4001 Ritchie Highway, from 3 to 4:30 PM, with a service beginning at 4:30 PM.
