Demsky, Walter A.

      On October 10th 2023. Walter A. Demsky passed away at 102 years old. He is the beloved husband of the late Alice Demsky; Devoted father of Mary Beth Tawa and husband James, and the late Karen Lewis. Cherished Grandfather of Joseph Lewis and wife Ashley, Stephen Tawa, Elisabeth Tawa, and the late Michael Lewis. Dear Great grandfather of Joseph and Alice Lewis. 

      After serving in the army in WWII, Walter moved to Brooklyn Park in 1948, where he lived for 73 years. Walter spent his career as a lab technician for the American Oil Company in Curtis Bay. He has many fond memories and stories of his trips to Europe with Alice after his retirement. He truly enjoyed golfing with his dear friend and neighbor Ed Fink. 

      Walter was extremely proud of his four grandchildren, and of all of their accomplishments. In his last years his great grandchildren brought special joy to him. Please pray for Walter. Our faith gives us comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with Alice, Karen and his dear Michael.

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Sunday from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. Interment will be private. Please feel free to express your condolences on his tribute wall.
