Virginia Ann Tate

    On April 10, 2022, Virginia Ann Tate passed away at age 79. Mrs. Tate was retired after many years of service at the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn. She and her husband were members of the Pathway Church of God in Brooklyn. They enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and the Caribbean, especially on cruise ships.  Mrs. Tate was the beloved wife of more than 50 years to William Tate; devoted daughter of the late Vincent and Thelma Papsan; loving sister of Linda Hatmaker and husband Dyle, Barbara Clark and husband Cliff, Jim Papsan and wife Nancy, and Mark Papsan. She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews and friends.

    Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway on Monday, April 18, from 1 to 5pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday 10am. Mrs. Tate will be laid to rest in Maryland Veteran Cemetery, Crownsville.
