In Loving Memory of Thomas A. Searcy
Thomas A. Searcy, age 78, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 Born in Baltimore, MD on February 2, 1947, Thomas lived a life marked by service, dedication, and deep love for his family.
A proud veteran, Thomas served in the United States Army embodying courage and commitment to his country. After his military service, he built a long and respected career as a chemical analyst with W.R. Grace in Baltimore, Maryland.
Thomas was happily married to Mary C. Searcy (deceased) for 36 wonderful years. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and warmth. For the past 19 years, he lived happily with his daughter Tina Davis and her family in Riverdale Park, MD. He was known for his love of sports, especially cheering on his beloved Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles, and he treasured the special moments spent watching games and movies with family.
Thomas is survived by his daughters, Tina Davis and Diane Tamez; son-in-law, John Davis; future son-in-law, Jason Riemer; and his cherished grandchildren: Adam Davis, Jessica Davis, Jacob Davis, Tyler Davis, Ethan Tamez, and Andrea Tamez — who lovingly knew him as “Pop Pop.” His kindness and gentle spirit will always be remembered and deeply missed.
Thomas leaves behind a legacy of love. As he always said with a smile,
“See you later, alligator… After a while, crocodile.”
