Ferragamo, Stephen M.

      In the early morning hours of March 14, 2020 Stephen Michael Ferragamo, beloved husband, father, and grandfather left this world to claim his spot in heaven.

      He is mourned by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, the flame of his heart, Linda, his children Dawn, Damian, Dominic, & Gabriel to whom he was a hero, and his grandchildren Jake, Josie, Harry, Ben, Luke, Sophie, Levi, Brooks & Lydia as well as countless friends & family.

      Stephen had a servant's heart serving his family, his country, his community, his parish, and his God.  He was a decorated war veteran having served in Vietnam, Army Bravo Company 2nd Battalion 47th Infantry Regiment.  He supported his family with a 31 year career with the Baltimore City Fire Department.  Stephen was an active member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church serving in a variety of positions throughout the years most notably as the Men's Club President.  He was also a member of the service brotherhood of Knights of Columbus.

             The world is a better place for having had him in it; his absence will be long felt.

 Close friends and relatives may visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie highway on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Service and Interment will be private. The family looks forward to hosting a more inclusive Celebration of Life for Stephen Ferragamo when the current crisis is behind us and it is safe to do so.

Maryland is Currently under state of emergency.

The following guidelines as set into place by Governor Hogan will effect services here at our Funeral home. 

 - There can be no gatherings of over 50 people.

 - There must be room for people to keep a distance from each other. 

 - High risk individuals or those who are sick should not attend such gatherings.

Our wish is to serve our families as best we can.
