Mitchell, Shirley A.

On June 17, 2020 Shirley A. Mitchell age 74 passed away in the comfort of her home and surrounded by her loving family. She was the owner of Shirley's Sunnyside Restaurant in Curtis Bay for 42 years, Shirley was definitely a hard worker and loved her customers. She was an animal lover and also enjoyed fishing and being with her family..

She was the mother of Kathy Sanford and her husband Teddy and Kristy Carvell and her husband Kevin. Loving daughter of the late Thomas L. and Eva (nee Myer) Mitchell. Cherished grandmother of Glenn Hillis, Summer Gill, T. Sanford and Robert Sanford. Great grandmother of Kylee James and Ella Sanford. Sister of Rosemarie Ludwig and the late Roland Mitchell, Thomas Mitchell and Nancy Leone. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Gathering of relatives and friends will be held at the GONCE FUNERAL SERVICE P. A. 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, Md. 21122 on Wednesday June 24th, 2020 from 4:00 PM till 6:00 PM at which time a Celebration of Life will begin. Interment will be private.

SINCE WE ARE ONLY ALLOWED 50% CAPACITY AT ANY ONE TIME, PLEASE PLAN TO MAKE YOUR VISIT BRIEF AND FOR EVERYONES SAFETY KINDLY WEAR A MASK.
