Shirley M. Harryman

Shirley Marie Harryman, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born on March 26, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland, Shirley was the daughter of the late Edward and Tina Dickerson.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Gilbert "Gil" Clarence Harryman; her sister, Doris Higginson; and her brother, Howard "Dick" Dickerson.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Dawn M. Thornton, and her husband, Bradley S. Thornton.

Shirley was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church on Duvall Highway, where she enjoyed the fellowship and support of her church family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church in her memory. 

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
