    Sherri Smith, 51, of Maryland, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 28th at her childhood home, with her loved ones by her side. Born on October 17, 1973, in Baltimore, Maryland, Sherri was a devoted mother, adoring grandmother, beloved sister, cherished daughter, caring aunt, and a true friend to many. Sherri's life was defined by her unwavering support of everyone around her. She had an incredible ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, always putting the needs of others before her own. Sherri was a true “gem” in the jewelry industry, leaving behind a legacy of over 30 years, that sparkles as brightly as the jewelry she lovingly sold. Her keen eye for detail, artistic flair, and genuine ability to connect with people made her love for jewelry find its perfect place in her career.  She was a mentor to many, always eager to share her knowledge and inspire her team. Sherri had a long-lasting belief in the magic that exists in the world. This led to her deep-rooted love for Disney, from everything from her favorite Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast, to her many lifelong visits to the Disney theme parks. Sherri found comfort and inspiration in the timeless lessons of these beloved tales: that kindness prevails, dreams do come true, and a little bit of magic can be found in the most unexpected places. She is survived by her daughters, Grace & Amanda; her granddaughter, Evangeline; her parents, Daniel Sr. & Peggy; her brother, Daniel Jr.; and her niece, nephew, family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

    A celebration of Sherri's life will be held on Thursday, March 6th from 3-5 (viewing only), and from 7-9 (viewing and prayer service). Funeral Service 7:30 P.M.  Flowers can be sent to Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Hwy. in Brooklyn Park, Maryland; or in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Give Kids the World Village Orlando in Sherri's memory.
