Shawn Christopher Thomas

       On November 5, 2019 Shawn C. Thomas, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away at age 45. Shawn served in the U.S. Army, 3rd Calvary Infantry from 1993 to 1998. He was stationed in Colorado for 5 years of that service, which is where he developed a love of the Denver Broncos. After the service, Shawn obtained his Trucking license and started out delivering milk. He worked for different trucking companies, but then settled with ERR , a refuse removal company, where he worked for 16 years. Shawn's infectious laugh could be heard down the street, especially when watching Brickleberry or Family Guy (giggity!). A lover of cats, he named some of his "fur babies" after X-men and as a classic gamer, he  also enjoyed playing Resident Evil and Killzone, a game he played with his son. One of his proudest times was when his son Shawn Jr. joined the Military, even though it was the NAVY!

       Shawn Thomas was the beloved husband of Melissa Thomas; loving father of Shawn Thomas Jr.; devoted son of Jacqueline Richard and the late Wilbert Lyons; cherished grandson of Betty Bryant; dear son in law of David and Beverly Smith; brother in law of Elizabeth Feltman and husband Chad; uncle and godfather of Haley Faro; uncle of Alexander Feltman.

      Family requests relatives and friends visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie highway on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 10 AM, followed by burial with Military Honors in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
