      Sharon Maureen Mckenzie(Hennessey)

       On October 9,2021 Sharon M. Mckenzie joined her parents, Rose Marie and Thomas Frances Hennessey Sr. in heaven. She was 70 years old. Sharon was born and raised in the Catholic Faith in the Baltimore area. A graduate of St. Rose of Lima School and Brooklyn Park High, she was also a member of the Catholic Daughters.
 
      Sharon met her husband Mark Steven McKenzie Sr. in 1982 and married in 1999. She became step-mother to Tonya A. Marquez, the dearly departed Mark Steven McKenzie Jr., Kristal L. Burnett her husband Kevin W. Burnett. Step grandchildren include Jonathan T. Marquez, Cody T. McKenzie, Kendall J. Burnett, Mark R. Burnett, Brittany M. Scott and husband Paul Scott. Step great grandmother to Everleigh S. McKenzie, Kylee and Bentley Scott.
 
      She was a loving sister to Patricia Vincent and her husband the late Don Vincent Sr., Thomas Hennessey Jr. and wife Liz Hennessey, Rosemary Butler and husband Robert Butler, and Margiann Greffen and husband Charles Greffen. She was also blessed with and loved many nieces and nephews whom will miss her dearly.
 
      She worked at the Motor Vehicles Administration for 32 ½ years and retired in 2002.

      Sharon was full of life that loved spending time with her husband and family on their yearly trips to Myrtle beach, she loved family gatherings, going with her husband to casino’s, and attending activitIes at the Roland Terrace Democratic Club.

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Monday from 10AM to 12PM. Service will begin at 12 PM followed by interment In Crownsville Veteran Cemetery.
