On August 27,  2025 Sam was the beloved husband of 35 years to Bonnie Schneider-Speesler; Devoted father of Samantha Speesler and Amber Beck; Also blessed with 2 grandchildren; Brother of James Lee, and Steve Robinson; Uncle of Jennifer Lee (Shaun); and blessed with two great nieces.

Sam Speesler was born in Baltimore, MD on August 17th, 1963. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Bonnie. He was a gas-fitter plumber for many years, and enjoyed sharing his handyman skills. Sam enjoyed many things; watching the Ravens and Orioles games, fishing, clamming, kayaking to Assateague Island, camping, and especially the fire. He enjoyed telling stories, spending time with family, gardening, and laughing with friends. He loved to walk his faithful companion Yagi in the mornings for exercise. Sam loved going to flea markets and shopping for bargains with his daughter, Samantha.
