Ruth Anna Watson is a retired bus aid from Howard County MD. Ruth was born June 14, 1951 and raised in Hanover MD. Ruth died from Metastatic Lung Cancer on September 21, 2021 at the age of 70.

Ruth was survived by her daughter Amanda Willard and husband Danny Nuckles and by her 3 grandchildren Madison, Bradley and Mason Willard and long time family friend Tom Willard and 4 nieces. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Norman and Pauline Poehlman her brother Norman Poehlman II and her husband Richard Watson.

Ruth was a simple girl living a country life. She loved reading and doing her crosswords. She also loved to fish and camping and canning her own vegetables. She always put herself first before others. Ruth will be missed by many.

 

Your gentle face and patient smile
with sadness we recall,
You had a kindly word for each
and died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stilled the
heart that loved us well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
from one as good as you.
You are not forgotten loved one
nor will you ever be.
As long as life and memory last
we will remember thee.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
as time goes by we miss you more.
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
no one can take your vacant place.
