      Rosalie Mary Smith (nee Lesniewski), age 71, of Clarksburg, Maryland, passed away on 8 October 2021 in her home from cancer.  She is survived by her daughter Denise Yingling; her sisters Joanne Houck, Doreen Biden, and Tammy Evers; stepdaughter Rebecca Lillibridge; son-in-law Jeff Lillibridge; granddaughters Brianna and Emma Lillibridge; and her husband William Turner.  Rosalie was very close to her daughter Denise, and followed Denise’s life and career with great interest.  She was married to Bill from 2013 until her death.  They enjoyed traveling together on long road trips, treasured their beach vacations at the Outer Banks, and were always ready to try a new restaurant.  Rosalie was born in Baltimore, Maryland on 13 December 1949.  She completed 12 years of Catholic education, graduating from Archbishop Spalding High School.  Rosalie worked for the Catholic Church for 20 years before retiring in 2010 as Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  Rosalie enjoyed collecting Cherished Teddies figurines, jigsaw puzzles, taking pictures, listening to audio books, playing online games, and chatting with Facebook friends.  A memorial service will be held at Gonce Funeral Service-Brooklyn, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Brooklyn, Maryland, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, 23 October 2021. Service will begin at 12:30 PM.  Please bring something to post on her memory board at the memorial service.

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway for a Memorial Gathering on October 23rd at 11:00 AM. Service will begin at 12:30 PM.
