On May 6th, 2025, Roger Alan Taylor joined his loving parents Arthur and Genevieve Taylor in Heaven. He passed away surrounded by his family. He is the beloved husband of 42 years to Barbara Taylor (Nee Weiner). Devoted father of the late Michael Ray Janney, and Greg Janney, Joe Janney and his wife Felicia. Devoted grandfather of Jessica, Jeffrey, David, and Jasmine Janney. Dear brother of Jeannie Fowler, Carol Smith and the late Wade Taylor. Roger was also loved and blessed with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Roger was a man of remarkable skill. Known for his talent with tools, his deep knowledge of mechanics, and uncanny ability to fix just about anything - whether it was carpentry, electrical work, or anything else that needed attention around the house or cars. He had a genuine love for tinkering and gadgets, always eager to figure out how things worked. He never met a drill or screwdriver that he didn’t like. Beyond his practical skills, he found joy in watching and feeding the birds.
A devout Catholic, Roger was a faithful parishioner of St. Jane Frances Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus, and member of the choir where he lived out his faith through service and fellowship. He was a patient man, and had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by his family, and friends.
Family will be receiving family and guests on May 17th from 10 AM to 11 AM in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM. Followed by interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
