Robert Leonard Taylor, born January 27, 1923 in Harrisburg, Pa., passed peacefully on May 21, 2020 in his home.  He is survived by his wife Nina Taylor, his best 4 legged friend Gigster, children, Richmond Taylor, Craig Taylor, Sandra Parrish, Rob Taylor (deceased), and Jeffrey Taylor.  He has 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.  

He was a member at Heritage Community Church in Severn, Md. He worked for ARA Food Service Company and then retired from Marriott Corporation.

 

Bob served in The United States Army Air Corp, as a Flight Officer on a B24 bomber in WWII.  He was so proud to have served his Country.  “The motto of his crew was:  “The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer”.

A private service will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, Md.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future time at Heritage Community Church once the Coved 19 pandemic allows us to have one.
