Robert “Bob” Charles Raughley, of Baltimore, MD, 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 29, 2025 at FutureCare Cherrywood in Reisterstown, MD.
Bob was a devoted son and brother, the oldest of two children, and only son born to Roberta and George Raughley on September 3, 1942. He got his degree in accounting and worked as a bookkeeper for the entirety of his career.
Bob was renowned for his agreeable disposition and enthusiasm for food. He liked to joke that he was on a “see food” diet. His nieces remember him as “second dad” and a person that could always be counted on when they needed him. His family fondly remembers his kindness and deep love for Jehovah, as well as his unwavering commitment to spiritual service as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Bob is survived by his sister, Bonnie; nieces Katherine (Lawrence) and Rebecca (Michael); great-uncle to Christina, Breann, Cassandra, Cassidy, Jacob, and Lucas; and great-great uncle to six more children.
