Rita Ann (Eichelman) Post

      On April 8, 2023, Rita Ann Post passed away at age 76. Rita worked at Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust in Baltimore for 30 plus years working her way up from secretary to Vice-President. She was a longtime member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, and frequent volunteer at the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire House. If they were holding Bingo or their Carnival, she was there helping. Rita would help anybody and everybody. She also loved to travel, and would be happy to just hop in her jeep and drive across the country. Mostly though, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

 Rita's Motto: Take things one day at a time.

    Rita Ann Post was the beloved mother of Gerald L. Post, Jr., and Michael Post and his wife Brenda; loving sister of Jeanne Lupinek, Deborah Stamper, Janet Murray and Edward Eichelman.  She was also blessed with grandsons Jayce Post, James Post, Julien Post and one granddaughter, the late Alexis Madison Post. 

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday (April 21, 2023) from 7-9 PM at Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 169 Riviera Drive. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday (April 22, 2023) at 10 AM at St. Jane Frances Church.
