Keane, Pauline M.
Pauline Marie (Lucas) Keane, a resident of Pasadena for 73 years, passed away on April 9, 2022. She was 97 years old.
She was born on January 13, 1925, in Baltimore, to the late Emma (Mahle) and George P. Lucas. After graduating from Seton High School in 1943, she went to volunteer at The American National Red Cross as a Nurse’s Aide Corp Baltimore Chapter. She worked for an insurance company in Baltimore until 1951. She was married to the late Thomas F. Keane for 68 years. Once she had children, she was a house wife and did volunteer work at different organizations. During her free time she enjoyed bowling in tournaments, gardening, knitting, decorating, and shopping. She was also a member of the TOPS club for over 50 years.
Along with her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by hers brothers (infant) George, James, John, and George Lucas. She is survived by her sister Jeannie Harper and brother Matthew Lucas. She is also survived by her daughters Pauline M. O’Connor and Barbara M. Keane, her two sons Thomas F. Keane, Jr. and his wife Patricia and Kevin G. Keane and his wife Lillian; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned GONCE FUNERAL SERVICE P. A. 169 Riviera Dr. Pasadena, Md. 21122 on Tuesday April 19th, 2022 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Jane Frances Church on Wednesday April 20th, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
