In Loving Memory of
Paul A. Martin, Jr.
"PJ"
Paul A. Martin, Jr. lovingly known as "PJ" by his family, passed away peacefully at his home in Brooklyn Park, Maryland on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
He is survived by: his mother Tammy Martin, his father Paul Martin, his sister Sarah Walter and husband Scott, his niece Isabella, his nephews Scotty and Logan, his aunt Kimberly Hale, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.
PJ was a simple man with a truly generous spirit. He adored and had a rare gift for connecting with animals - earning trust and affection of even the most timid creatures. He had a deep love for cooking and enjoyed sharing meals with those around him. He spent many hours playing Dungeons and Dragons and was a vault of knowledge, always eager to share what he knew with others. He also had a passion for drawing anime and loved Pokemon just as much as he loved life - always chasing adventure, always believing in good people.
He had the biggest heart and would give anything to anyone. PJ was a gentle soul who cared deeply for others. Even during times when he did not feel well, he still found ways to help, encourage, and uplift those around him.
"The dice have been set down, but the adventure he gave us will never end."
"Hey, I finally caught em all, right Ma?"
Visiting will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway. A Funeral Service will be at 1 P.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
