Paul Dunlap Obituary

Paul Tickner Dunlap, age 82, a resident of Severna Park for 57 years died peacefully at his home on September 27, 2025 after a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia.

He was born April 9, 1943 in Baltimore, to the late Irene Charlotte Tickner (Dunlap) and Paul Morris Dunlap. He earned a GED and shortly afterwards enlisted in the Marines serving from 1962-1968. He received several commendations, citations, and ribbons.

After an honorable discharge, he was employed by Green Spring Dairy for over thirty years, serving as a milkman then moved into a supervisor role. He also became proprietor of Bergers Colonial Restaurant from 1980-1985.

Paul is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Marie Antoinette Culotta (Dunlap). He was the devoted father of Robin Hein and husband Augie, Paula Dunn and husband Tony, Annie Treat and husband Tom. Loving PopPop to grandchildren Christopher and wife Mary Hein, Lauren and husband Josh Disney, Cole and wife Amy Treat, Carly Treat, Jack and wife YaYa Treat. Loving GPop to great-grandchildren Christopher Jr. and Amy Hein, Noah and Madison Disney.

He is survived by his brother Dean Allen Dunlap, many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He enjoyed working in his yard, detailing cars, helping his brother in law with his home construction improvement business. He had a love of waterskiing, fishing, and boating. He loved watching the Ravens. He had a knack for story telling.

A special thank you goes out to his loving and dedicated caretakers.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Paul filled our lives with warmth, humor, and unwavering support. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, generous spirit, and the "Poppy Wave."

Visiting will be at Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 169 Riviera Drive, on Friday (October 3, 2025) from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Service will be Saturday (October 4, 2025) at 11:15 AM at Our Lady of the Fields Church Cemetery, 1070 Cecil Ave in Millersville. A luncheon will be at 1 PM at Deven's Deli Ferndale, 1 Ferndale Road, Glen Burnie.
