On June 6, 2024, Patricia A. Rogers entered into eternal rest at age 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Q. Rogers; devoted mother of Edward Q. Rogers, Jr., M.D. and wife Ruth Ann, Brian N. Rogers, Esq. and wife Beverly, and the late Christopher C. Rogers; also blessed with five grandchildren Molly, Julia, Brian Jr., Samuel and Lilly.
Patricia was born on January 11, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Towson State Teacher's College, a testament to her lifelong passion for learning and teaching. For 20 years, Patricia touched the lives of countless young minds as a kindergarten and grade school teacher. Beyond the classroom, she found joy in the simple and beautiful aspects of life. She had a profound love of nature, spending her free time gardening, hiking, and bird watching with her husband of 44 years. Family was the cornerstone of Patricia's life. She adored her husband, children, and later, grandchildren. Her love, wisdom and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family requests relatives and friends visit Gonce Funeral Service, 169 Riviera Drive, on Thursday (June 13, 2024) from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday (June 14) at 10 AM at St. Jane Frances Church. Interment will follow in Moreland Memorial Park.
