Patricia A. Combs

      Patricia A. Combs, 76, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on June 28, 2025. Born on August 14, 1948, Pat was the beloved wife of Wayne Combs, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Pat dedicated her life to her family and community.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sarah Dudick; her sister, Roseann Popp; and her son-in-law, Troy Carter.

      Pat is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Combs, and her children: Shelly Carter, Anthony Combs (Heather), Carrie Long (Kenneth), and Kevin Combs (Donna). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Brianna Combs (Carlos), Natalie and Christopher Long, Jacob Carter, Brayden Combs, Paige Castellanos (Jose), Cameron Diaz, and Emma Castellanos. Pat also leaves behind many dear friends who held a special place in her life.

      For many years, Pat was a stay-at-home mother, deeply involved in the lives of her children. She was active in the PTA and generously volunteered her time to support school and sports activities. Once her children were all in school, she began a meaningful career as a Teacher’s Assistant with Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Over her 26 years with AACPS, Pat worked at several schools and made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students and colleagues.

      Above all, Pat was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether it was a sporting event, graduation, or school concert, she made it a priority to be in the front row, cheering them on with pride.

      Patricia’s love, warmth, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
