Patricia Bruchalski Obituary

      PATRICIA BRUCHALSKI was born in Mahwah New Jersey on the 4th of July in 1926 She comes from a musical family. She received the greater part of her training from Hans Heinz and Madame Freschel in New York City, and George Bolek in Baltimore.

      She made her Professional Debut in Recital in 1956; she was State Winner in the Young Artist Division of the National Federation of Music Club; appeared in a group recital at Town Hall in New York City, and bas given numerous concerts elsewhere. She has appeared frequently on radio and television, — also with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in a concert version of Elektra.

      Her performance in leading roles with the Baltimore Civic Opera and the Peabody Art Theatre include: Faust, Marriage of Figaro, Thais, Suor Angelica, Gianni Schicchi and Turk in Italy, and she was selected to do Mama Lucia in Cavalleria Rusticana by the Rome Opera Company. Her work in Church Music includes Oratorio, and many appearances as guest soloist in New York and Baltimore.

      Patricia was a devoted catholic, a long time parishioner of St. Athanasius Catholic Church. She faithfully dedicated herself as a cantor offering her voice in song and prayer, singing beautiful catholic hymns in polish. A wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her.

      On December 18th, 2025. Patricia S. Bruchalski was called home by the Lord. She was 99 years old. The Beloved wife of the late Walter Bruchalski; Devoted mother of Lorraine Tripp and husband Arthur, and the late Dennis Bruchalski; Dear Grandmother of Shelly Smith, Jeffrey Stawas, and David Bruchalski and blessed with 5 great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Helen Soboleski.

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Hwy on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday at 11 AM in St. Athanasius Chapel, followed by entombment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
