Mildred Lee Werring (March 1, 1950 - March 2, 2025)

Mildred Lee Werring, 75, of Baltimore, MD, died on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

She was born in Baltimore in 1950 to Emmit and Lucile Willis, where she learned to cook for her family, which turned into a lifelong career of cooking for others. She enjoyed going to bingo and the casino with her friends and children, Saturday dinners with her grandson Chris and going to the salon to get her hair done.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Emmit and Lucile, her brothers Leroy and James, her husband Walt, and her son Robert Anderson. She is survived by her children, Rick Hartis and wife Lucy, Carolyn Hartis-Lewis and husband Bill, Ron Hartis and wife Tracy, and Jim Hartis. As well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Her visiting will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Gonce Funeral Service, located at 4001 Ritchie Highway, Brooklyn, MD 21225, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
