Michael (Mickey) J. Coleman III

Coleman, Michael J. III passed away on September 3, 2023 at age 72. He was the Beloved husband of Robin M. Coleman (nee Alt). Devoted father of Amy A. Coleman and Nick, Allison L. Duckworth and Brandon. Cherished grandfather of Damien Duckworth. Preceded in death his mother Helen Coleman (nee Garan) his father Michael J. Coleman Jr. and his sister Saundra Wright. Caring brother of Daniel Coleman Sr. and Sharon, Ronald Coleman and Hae Kyung, Sharlene Spahr and Kenny, Colleen Coleman, Doreen Luck and David. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. 

Mickey enjoyed many things in life such as listening to classic rock and playing guitar. He loved spending time with his grandson, taking him for walks around the neighborhood and to the local parks.  He was a proud Vietnam Veteran.  He also enjoyed to travel, one of his favorite places being Hawaii. His favorite sport was baseball and he played on many teams through the years.
Mickey loved baseball, music and travel but above all his favorite passion was his love for his family. He was so proud of his girls and his grandson.  He was excited for the arrival of two new grandchildren expected within the next few months.  Quality family time was always important to him. He had a knack for making anyone smile and enjoyed spreading love and kindness wherever he went.  “A Heart of Gold” as many say.  He was a long time employee of Mercy Medical Center.  
He is deeply loved and will be missed by many people. 

The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P. A. 4001 Ritchie Hwy. on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Services will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
