On January 16, 2026 Maureen Graleski passed away after a 10 month battle with AML leukemia. She was the beloved wife of Ray Graleski and loving mother of Marc and Matthew Graleski.
Maureen lived a life full of joy and love. She lived most of her life in Maryland. There she met Ray, and built a career and family. Three years ago she moved to Florida where she spent the last of her days relaxing with Ray. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters who miss her dearly.
Maureen found joy in the simple things in life. She loved sitting on her porch looking at the sun shining on her pond, and watching her dogs Goldie and Quincy play in the backyard. She loved bickering with Ray and her late mother in law Gloria. Maureen also loved to travel, going on many cruises with Ray.
She was a devout Catholic very strong in her faith. She was deeply devoted to St. Jane Francis de Chantal Church in Pasadena, Maryland. She spent her time assisting on many committees and events. After moving to Yulee Florida she became involved at St. Francis of Assisi Mission Church “her new spiritual home”. She had a gift of making everyone she knew feel warm and loved.
In lieu of flowers those who wish may make a donation to the Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville Fl.
A gathering will be at St. Jane Frances Church on Wednesday (January 28, 2026) from 10 AM to 11 AM, with a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
Feel free to leave your condolences on her tribute wall.
