Maudie Ruth Lester known to many as "Ruthie" born April 26,1955 passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023 holding her daughter's hand while surrounded by her closest family in her daughter's home where she wanted to be as she gained her wings. Ruthie was the mother of 4 children. Her surviving daughter Shenan Wong (Charles "Ben" Wong) She is preceded in death by her 3 boys Roger "Dempsey" Berg, William "Bill" Berg and Matthew Borck. She also raised her sister Tammy Martin (Paul Martin) after the death of their mother at a very young age. Ruthie was blessed with many grandchildren. Randy, Jay, Dominic, Liza, Trenten, Damien, Kira, Sanibel, Liam, Dakota, Sarah (Scott) and Pj. Along with many great grandchildren Colton, Landon, Kinsley, Harper, Noah, Scott, Logan, Isabella and Daniel (DJ) and one angel baby Noah who she lost in 2018. Ruthie was known for always having one or more kids with her at all times. She took many in over the years who needed a warm meal or a place to stay. She was a simple woman. She kept a spotless home. She loved lanterns and the color red and Rubies were her favorite. She had so much pride for her Cherokee Indian heritage. She collected all things Indian themed. She was known for her waist length dark hair, dark bronzed skin and her big brown eyes. She enjoyed thrift stores and antique shops. She never cared for the latest popular items or what was in style. She was honest and loyal. She was the best Mommy, Memaw, Mawmaw, Nana and Babe there could have ever been. Life will never be the same but her legacy and memory will forever live on.  Her trademark saying will always be  "Love You More"
