Smitley, Mary Catherine

Born August 4, 1949 in Baltimore, MD She was the loving wife of 47 years to William "Bill" Smitley. Mother to Cathy ( her husband Shawn Whitenack) and Billy (his wife Amy); Devoted grandmother to Katlyn Phillips, Joshua Whitaker, Haley Smitley, Grant Whitaker, Cole Whitenack and Dylan Smitley; Loving sister to Ed Cartrette and wife Wyolene; Also blessed with several brother and sister-in-laws and special aunt to Kathy Sauer and countless nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She was preceeded in death by her mother Mary Mielke and brother Mitch Cartrette.

Cathy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and always put her family first. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, her weekly TV shows and hitting the slots from time to time.

Cathy will be extremely missed by so many.

Visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Interment following service in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
