Mary Comer

On July 31, 2022, Mary Comer received her wings and went on a heavenly cruise with departed beloved family, friends, and angels. She was 81 years old.

Born in Manhattan, New York, Mary grew up on a family farm located on Long Island; happily growing up alongside her beloved cousins. Her dream was to get married and have children and she was more than happy to be the central figure in their lives. Mary was a compassionate and optimistic spirit whose passion was putting smiles on the faces of all those who came in contact with her. Her happy smile, ability to see the laughter in life, and cheerful personality was infectious. Touching in a marvelous way all those who knew her.

Mary is survived by her son and daughter Matthew J Comer and Catherine A Johnson (Comer), their spouses Brenda Comer and Gary Johnson, grandchildren Jonathan Comer married to Katie Comer, Julia Hamilton (Comer) married to Andrew Hamilton, Samantha Johnson, Amanda Johnson engaged to Rhett Cassell, Jamison Comer, and great-grandchildren Wyatt and Camden Comer.

A visitation will be held at Gonce Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 3, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena MD 21122 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Thursday at 11 am. All are welcome. Mrs. Comer will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
