On August 26, 2024, Mary Ellen Coleman (nee Frame) passed away from natural causes at age 81 surrounded by her family .
Mary went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as well as her late husband Dennis and her unborn baby son "Baby Boy Coleman". Mary was raised in Sillery Bay Pasadena MD by her late father Vernon G Frame and late mother Florence T. Frame (Kuzmickas). Mary attended Glen Burnie High School. At age 19 Mary married her devoted husband of 61 years, the late Dennis W. Coleman Sr. on November 17, 1962. They became members of St. Clements Church in Lansdowne, were parishioners there, and bought a home in Lansdowne in 1964.
Mary was a loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Sister-In-Law, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt . Mary was a housewife & homemaker, a Den Mother to a cub scout pack at St. Clements Parrish . Mary had various other jobs including : a Clerk at the Shoe Per Market shoe store, a clerk at Montgomery Wards on Monroe St., a Delicatessen clerk at Super Fresh, and Metro Super Markets, and an owner/operator of The Macramé' Unlimited store that along with her husband and brother/sister-in-law Donald & Patricia 'Patsy" bought and created. In addition to operating the Macramé' store and selling products Mary also made many of the Macramé' creations as well as taught classes on how to Macramé'.
Mary Ellen Coleman (nee Frame); loving Daughter of the late Vernon & Lois Frame, and Florence T. & Henry Robbins; devoted wife of the late Dennis William Coleman Sr.; dear daughter-in-law to the late Jessie Theresa (nee Scullion) and Michael Joseph Coleman Sr.; cherished mother of Dennis W. Coleman Jr. and his wife Beth Anne Coleman (nee Gross) and Vernon Michael Coleman; adored grandmother of Kaitlyn Young, Dennis William, William David, David Benjamin and Benjamin Dennis; loving sister to Flo T. Fleming (Frame) & husband Sheldon Fleming, Glenn V. Frame and his wife Melanie Frame, Michele Frame Miller & husband Todd Miller, and Tara Frame Wicker & husband Richard Wicker; Sister-in-law to James Martin Coleman and his late wife Joan, the late Michael J. Coleman Jr. and wife Helen Coleman the late Marleen Kanavy and husband Charles "Carey" Kanavy, the late Margaret Uselton and her husband Don Uselton, the late Buck Good and the late Donald H. Coleman and wife Patricia Coleman; dear Aunt Mary to numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Wednesday (September 4, 2024) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11 am. Interment in Lakeview Memorial Park.
