Mark Reeser ObituaryOn April 18th, 2026, Mark E. Reeser passed away. He was 83 years old. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Diane Reeser; Devoted father of Jeffrey Reeser and wife Karen, Kyle Reeser, and Matthew Reeser and wife Teri; Cherished grandfather of Elena Reeser, Maddie Reeser, Katie Reeser, and Parker Reeser; Dear brother-in-law of Caryn. Preceded in death by his two brothers Robert and Larry. Mark was born in New Ringgold, Pennsylvania on March 14, 1943. He met Diane in 1965 and fell in love immediately. The song that played during their first date was "Lightning Strikes" by Lou Christie, and it was a favorite of theirs throughout their marriage. They married in 1966 and the birth of their three sons followed in 1967, 1970, and 1973. Mark was a truck driver and proud Teamster throughout his 44 year career during which he drove over three million miles. Mark volunteered at the First Baptist Church of Brooklyn as a bus driver, transporting hundreds of children and youth to Sunday School and social events for over two decades. Besides his family, Mark loved the three Cs -- cars, coffee, and cookies. His wife, children, and grandchildren will miss him but feel blessed by the time he spent with them. Family requests relatives and friends visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway on Sunday (April 26, 2026) from 12 PM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 6 PM. Private funeral and interment on April 27, 2026. In Lieu of flowers, per Marks request, please consider donating to BARCS animal shelter in Baltimore Maryland.
