On June 1, 2025 Jane was the beloved wife of Edward Burton ; Devoted mother of Janet Seidl and husband Tim Seidl and the late Michael Abbott and Joanne Evans; Grandmother of Janice Carey, Sarah Flaig, Emily Sartory, Benjamin Seidl, Hope Smith and Patrick Seidl; Great-Grandmother of Corey Smith, Peyton Smith, Cade Flaig, Connor Flaig, Elias Sartory, Camryn Sartory, Noah Sartory  and Everly Seidl and Rowan; Sister of the late Martin and John Abbott.
