Margaret Mayo

On June 18, 2024, Margaret Mayo entered into eternal rest at age 95. Margaret dedicated her life to her family and community. Her 5 children were her pride and joy, and she worked tirelessly to provide them with a nurturing and supportive home. A devout member of Church on the Boulevard, Margaret was known for her generosity and selflessness. Her faith and compassion were evident. In her leisure time, Margaret was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. She loved cheering on her favorite teams with enthusiasm and spirit. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Massie Mayo; devoted mother of Michael Moore and wife Janice, Gary Moore, Judith Mayo, Susan Mayo, and the late Danny Moore; also blessed with 4 grandchildren Michael Moore, Samantha Bosley, Stephanie Burkemoore and Chris Moore; and 3 great grandchildren Sloane, Emilia and Morgan. 

Family requests relatives and friends visit Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Thursday (June 20, 2024) from 3 to 7 PM, with a service beginning at 7 PM.
