      Margaret A. Matson was born November 1, 1931 to the late John Varner and wife Martha. Margaret was 1 of 16 children! She loved taking Bus trips to the Casinos, and attending exercise classes with her friends. She was a fun, and loving woman, mother, grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends.

      On July 14, 2024, Margaret joined her beloved husband Thomas Matson in Heaven. She was 92 years old. Cherished mother of James Thornton and wife Kathleen; and Dear grandmother of Albert and Dustin Thornton. 

      Family requests those to join them for a graveside service at 11 AM on Thursday in Lakeview Memorial Park 2724 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784.
