On October 1, 2021 Margaret M. Hanna passed away at age 88. A devout Catholic, Mrs. Hanna was a long time member of St. Jane Frances Church and later of Our Lady of the Angels at Charlestown. She retired from the Mass Transit Administration where she worked as an accountant. Mrs. Hanna enjoyed doing counted-crossed stitch embroidery and shared many of her works with family and friends. Painting and drawing at the Paschal Senior Center was another favorite pastime.
Margaret Mabel Hanna was the beloved wife of 43 years to the late Richard G. Hanna; devoted mother of Susan and Russ Love, Pegie and Tim Lynch, Phyllis and Don Micken, and the late JoAnn Kahler and her surviving husband Gary; loving grandmother of Albert Lowe, Rebecca Nutty, Gail Zik, Paul Love, Rick and James Brown, Donald and Martin Micken. She was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren.
Visiting will be held at the family owned Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 169 Riviera Drive in Pasadena, on Tuesday from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jane Frances Church on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Mrs. Hanna will be laid to rest with her husband in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
