Margaret J. (Barber) Beatty

On July 7, 2025 Margaret Jean Beatty (nee Barber) passed away at age 81. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Beatty; devoted daughter of the late Orval, Eleanor, and Mildred Barber; cherished mother of Frank Martin Jr. and wife Diane, Vivian Thayer and husband Charles, and Sandra Johns; dear sister of Charles, David, Orval, Dorothy and Rose Barber, Mary Alice Webster, Kyran Ross, Rita Horant, and the late Judy Hayes, Elaine Lincoln, Richard, James and Bobby Barber. She was also blessed with 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and her longtime companion Walter Arndt.

In a note to her family, Margaret said, "I have had a great life. Growing up with a wonderful loving father and so many sisters and brothers. I felt I was very blessed. I was also blessed with 3 very special children who gave me so much joy. I knew I was loved very much by all of you. Thank you for your love and support."

Friends may call at Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway on Monday and Tuesday, July 14th and July 15th from 3 - 5PM and 7 - 9PM. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
