On November 23, 2021, Lucille A. Samluck (Nee Brady) at age 89 joined her beloved husband William J. Samluck in Heaven after 56 years of marriage. She is the Loving mother of Barbara Strominger (Daniel), Beth Jacobs (Michael), Daniel Samluck (Brenda), Richard Samluck (Grace), Donna Gray (Michael), David Samluck (Patti); blessed with 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; and is dear sister of Kathleen "Kitty" and Jackie.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Daniel Brady, and her sisters, Patricia, Rosemary, and Eileen. Lucille was a proud graduate from The Catholic High School. She was a former member of the Roland Terrace Democratic Club. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima's Women for Christ. She was quite proud of all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she loved watching them play sports. She was also an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. Lucille enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading books. She was a devoted volunteer for St. Rose of Lima's Beans and Bread, and Meals on Wheels.
Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Rose of Lima Church on Wednesday at 11 AM, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Flowers, cards, or memorial donations to St. Rose of Lima Church are all welcome.
