Hobbs, Littell A. Sr. "Hobbs"
On August 9, 2020 Littell Anthony Hobbs, Sr., proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, passed away at age 89. Mr. Hobbs was the beloved husband of Helen Hobbs for 67 years; devoted father of Karen McKenna and husband Gregory, Donna Alt and husband Richard and the late Littell Hobbs Jr. and wife Karen. He was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and was the dear brother of Mary Lou Guandolo and the late George Hobbs.
Hobbs was always a gentle, positive person and lead by example, supporting family members and friends whenever needed. He and his loving wife, Helen, traveled the world extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and The Caribbean. There was also an infamous USA cross country road trip for 10 weeks. Cruises were a favorite and they sailed more than 50 cruises. He devoted many hours of volunteering all of his life – and especially enjoyed being a Boy Scout leader with his son, Hobby. For many years he worked with The Opportunities Builders training developmentally disabled adults for instrumental Bells shows. He was a Member of the Knights of Columbus, Order of The Alhambra, and also active in Civitan International. Trains were a favorite with Hobbs including building model trains and riding real ones.
Hobbs lived life to the fullest and he will be missed by more people than he will ever know
