Linda L. Wasiljov

Linda Lee Wasiljov (née Page), age 77, passed away on May 10, 2025, after complications from surgery in Baltimore, Maryland. 

Born on September 25, 1947, in Baltimore, Linda was the daughter of the late Elvin Wilson Page and Margaret (Ferrell) Page. She grew up in the city she would call home for most of her life, surrounded by a large extended family that included her late brother Edward Page and numerous beloved aunts and uncles.

Linda dedicated much of her early life to raising her children before returning to the workforce. She built a long and meaningful career as a Financial Secretary, where she found fulfillment in helping others. Over the years, she worked at several local hospitals, but spent the majority of her professional life at Mercy Medical Center. Her dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and patients alike.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Ronald N. Wasiljov. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter. She was a proud and loving mother to Michael Wasiljov and his wife Laurie of Hagerstown, Maryland, and Karen Cykoski of Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Her greatest joy came from being "Mom Mom" to Madelyn and Lilly Cykoski, who brought light into her life.

Known for her spirited personality and sense of humor, Linda had a passion for slot machines, playing the lottery, and going on cruises—activities that brought her both excitement and joy. She also had a mischievous streak when it came to social media; she often joked about how many times she could land herself in Facebook Jail by stirring up lively debates online.

Linda’s vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on through the stories shared by those who loved her.  The best way to remember Linda, would be to go out and buy a scratch off ticket and think of her as you scratch it.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gonce Funeral Home, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Baltimore, MD.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at Gonce Funeral Home, 4001 Ritchie Highway. Interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park following funeral.
