In Loving Memory of Linda Hanson
February 7, 1942 – August 2, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Linda Hanson, who left us peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born in Baltimore City on February 7, 1942, to Joseph and Ermma Bowen, Linda was a woman of strength, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. She carried her roots with pride and built a life full of care, laughter, and resilience.
She was a devoted and loving mother to Ed Hartlove (Lori), Joe Hartlove (Vicki), Yvonne Hartlove (Jim), and Jennifer Miller (Jordan) a proud and cherished “Memom” to her grandchildren: Rochelle (Rob), Megan (Joshua), Eddie, Angie (Chad), Joey, Brad (Terry), Mike, Michele (Chad), Jasmine, and Alex; and a deeply loved great-grandmother to Cierra, Brianna, Robby, Desiree, Bradley, Nevaeh, Jayden, Zachary, Austin, Mason, Violet, and Ethan.
Linda was always there—with a listening ear, a comforting word, or a warm meal. Her love showed up in quiet gestures, steady support, and the way she made everyone feel they belonged. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and deep family bonds that will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family requests relatives and friends visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 169 Riviera Drive, Thursday (August 7, 2025) from 3PM - 6PM. The funeral service will begin at 6PM.
Feel free to express your condolences on her tribute wall.
