Leroy W. Wasmus, Sr.

On May 15, 2023, Leroy W. Wasmus, Jr., U.S. Navy Veteran passed away at age 86. A long time resident of the Brooklyn area, Mr. Wasmus was a devout Christian and enjoyed listening to Gospel music. He worked at the Chevrolet Plant in East Baltimore for 27 years before he retired. He loved spending time with his family. 

"He woke up happy every day, smiled all the time, and never seemed to have a bad day."

Mr. Wasmus was the devoted father of Leroy W. Wasmus, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, and the late Tina Marie Wasmus; and was the cherished grandfather of Seth Wasmus, John Williams and Ronnie Wroten. 

Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be Monday at 11 AM. He will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Park with Military Honors.
