Leo Edward Montano Jr. [Dec 10, 1973]-[Jan 26, 2026]
Leo Montano Jr. (Ed or Eddie to most) was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. He passed away on January 26, 2026, leaving behind a family forever changed by his absence and forever grateful for the love he gave.
Born on December 10, 1973, Leo lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and love for those closest to him. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Emily, and his sons, Eddie and Justin; a proud grandfather to Amberleigh; a loving partner to Heather; a cherished brother to Dana and Tera; and a constant companion to his loyal dog, Dakota.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Elaine Montano; his brother, Joey; his best friend, John; and his beloved dog, Chevy.
Family was at the center of Leo’s life. Everything he did—every long day, every sacrifice—was done out of love and a deep sense of responsibility for the people he cared about most.
Leo found joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. He loved music, fishing, being outdoors, and working with his hands. The outdoors gave him peace, music gave him comfort, and hard work gave him purpose. He wasn’t one for many words, but his love showed through his actions—his reliability, his strength, and his steady presence.
Those who knew Leo knew they could count on him. His absence leaves an ache that cannot be filled, but his memory lives on in his children, his granddaughter, and in the love he poured into his family.
Leo’s love, lessons, and spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him. He will never be forgotten.
