Leland Sprought

On February 22, 2025, Leland Sprought passed away at age 79. Leland was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and carried out his sense of duty and perseverance throughout his life. He was a hardworking and dedicated man, and spent his career as a plumber, taking great pride in his work and loyalty to his job - even working through his battle with cancer into his late 70s. He found joy in friendly competition, whether at the pool table or bowling alley. 

Leland was the devoted husband of Debbie Sprought, loving father of their children, cherished grandfather and great grandfather. 

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the American Legion Post 34, where he and Mrs. Sprought were married. His wishes were to have one more big party.
