Laura Lee Wilder, age 73 of Millsboro, DE formerly of Brooklyn, MD passed away on Wednesday February 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Laura Lee was born in Baltimore, MD on April 18, 1947 daughter of the late Rita Rose & Richard Williams. She was a housewife who later went to work for Costco and BJ in Delaware as a sample lady who loved to interact with her customers.

After Laura Lee’s late husband retired, they moved to Long Neck DE so they would be close to the water. She loved to go fishing with her husband George.

Laura was proceeded in death by her late husband George Kyle Wilder Sr, whom she was married to for 53 years. Sons George Wilder of Millersville, Gregory Wilder and Stacy Hutzler of Millersville, MD and David and Lisa Wilder of Middle River, MD; a granddaughter Rachel Goldsmith and her husband Timothy Goldsmith; a great grandson Ryder Goldsmith; two step grandchildren Lindsay Barley and Joseph Hutzler and a step great grandson Hudson Barley. Laura Lee is also survived by a sister Carol Sapeta, brothers Ricky and Michael Williams and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of Laura Lee’s life will be held on Tuesday February 23,2021 from 6pm to 8pm, with a service at 7:30 at Gonce Funeral Home, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225.
