Larry Moschel

      On January 28th 2026, Larry Joe Moschel, A beloved Husband, Father, Son, GrandDad and Friend passed away peacefully from a long, challenging battles from Cancer at the age of 67.

      Larry was born in Baltimore City on May 19th, 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Moschel and Barbara Sykes, and Step Sister, Peggy Leikam. Larry lived in Glen Burnie, Maryland.  He is survived by his wife, Cathy Moschel of 39 Years. His Children Ashley Halley and Spouse David Halley IV, Matthew Moschel and Spouse Michelle Moschel and Amy Sangkavasi and Spouse Scott Sangkavasi. Larry is also survived by his Stepfather, Donald Sykes and Stepmother, Dolly Moschel. Sisters, Judy Moschel and Belinda Connor and Brother, Donny Sykes  His memory will live on with his 8 Grandchildren and many friends and family.

      In Larry’s youth he enjoyed playing drums in the Green Beret Marching Band, fishing and getting into mischief! As he became an adult, he had a thrill for roller coasters, fast cars and motorcycles. He spent time volunteering as a Judge for Anne Arundel County Pet Court and was Treasurer for North County Republican Club. He was employed with WR Grace as a Chemical Operations Forman for many years. An Elvis Fan at heart and Good Ole Rock N Roll. With all things he did in his short life, the thing he enjoyed the most of all was spending time with his family….and eating Little Debbie cakes. He will be deeply missed

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. and Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 11 AM.
